Chat & Chew  women’s support group

Chat & Chew is held every 3rd Saturday of the month alternating between Carriage Circle apartments (255 Carriage Circle Drive, Pontiac) and Arborview Village (121 Fiddis Ave. Pontiac).  Our time is filled with girl talk, games, prizes and good food.  Call Diane Turnipseed 248.453.4146 or Deidre Davis 248.495.7500 for more information.  Chat & Chew Details 

Hope Home Visiting Program

GIRDLE and Arborview Village Apartments in Pontiac, MI, have agreed to work togethere to empower Arborview Village Apartment residents with life skills, including but not limited to 

• Hygiene
• Housekeeping
• Cooking
• Finance
• Education
• Career Goals
• Entrepreneurship

These skills will enable them to independently support themselves and their families.  GIRDLE and the management of Aborview Village Apartments are targeting hourseholds headed by women who can benefit from our support and resources.  Please contact the number below if you would like to sign up to participate in this program.

Youth Mentor Program

Young ladies ages 12 - 17 will be encouraged through one-on-one weekly mentoring sessions focusing on life skills and education.  Since the sessions are one-on-one, each young lady will have a program developed around their individual needs.  Please contact the number below if you would like to sign up to participate in this program.
